STUDIO PRICES:
Your first class at the studio is $15.00 + HST. After that, you can purchase a studio membership or continue to pay by the class.
CLASS RESERVATIONS + ONLINE BOOKING:
Reservations are required for all classes. We now have online booking available! Purchase your class pass and reserve your spot through our convenient booking portal.

Join Susie at First Step Yoga - the last three Tuesday evenings in March.
Susie offers gentle yoga classes and sound bath experiences; each week has a different theme.
Please note: All classes are led independently by Susie / Gentle Groundings (not through First Step Yoga).

Long-held yin postures focus on nervous system regulation and release.

For anyone hesitant to try a group class, we offer private introductory sessions. These sessions allow you to go over any concerns (and get a feel for practice) before you try your first group class.
We also offer semi-private and private group classes. This can be a great way to practice with your family and friends!

Build core strength and improve joint flexibility through a series of fun and challenging movements.
This class is perfect for total beginners, or anyone looking for a gentle Pilates mat class.

A slow, supportive, beginner-friendly class designed for those who prefer a gentle approach to yoga.
This class focuses on simple movements, mindful breathing and relaxation.
Expect a mix of seated, standing and reclining postures with plenty of modifications and the use of props for extra support.
No prior experience is needed - just come as you are and move at your own pace!

Yin yoga is a slow-based practice that focuses on holding poses for extended periods (3-5 minutes) to target release in our deep connective tissues.
In addition to those longer-held postures, this class also integrates gentle movement to balance and strengthen the body.
Mixed Yin is designed to deepen body awareness, increase flexibility, improve joint mobility and promote relaxation and mindfulness.

Beginning with a series of soothing and restorative poses and ending with a guided meditation, this gentle class will focus on calming your body and mind before bed.

A dynamic class blending yoga and Pilates to build strength, stability and core control. We combine standard yoga postures + targeted Pilates exercises for a balanced, full-body workout.
Movements are taught progressively, allowing you to work at your own pace - whether you're a total beginner or more experienced. This is a fun and challenging class for all levels!
